Making cancer resources easier to find
Who We Are
Natalia Menéndez

Led by young adult survivors.

Natalia Menéndez · Founder · Blood cancer survivor

"I was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma a month before my 23rd birthday."

When I was going through treatment, the brain fog and the exhaustion did not let up. I didn't even know where to start. The hardest part wasn't only the diagnosis. It was trying to find help with the least energy I had ever had.

I started The Fourth SpaYce in 2023 for a simple reason. Young adults need a place to connect, and a way to find existing resources without getting confused. I was so overwhelmed I had no idea where to start or what the requirements were to apply for different events and resources.

Showing up beyond diagnosis.

Since starting The Fourth SpaYce, Natalia has told her story on podcasts, panels, and stages, so people understand what facing cancer young actually takes, and why getting to the right help shouldn't be this hard. We have also raised over $90,000 for indolent lymphomas as part of Blood Cancer United Visionaries of the Year. We are here to fight for young adults, across every kind of cancer.

By the people, for the people.

Natalia, a young adult blood cancer survivor, along with a team of other young adult survivors, reviews all resources. Most of them we have experienced firsthand; others are recommendations from trusted sources. But every resource is reviewed by us.

Un abrazo,
